On February 29, 2012 Jerry and I took our Mission Call envelope to the home of our son Erik.  We Skyped our other son, Ty and our granddaughter, Michele so that they could share in the excitement.  Needless to say, we were all in SHOCK when Jerry read that we had been called to the Philippine Naga Mission for 23 months!

On March 14th, we had an email from our Mission President, stating that our duties would be, "acting as supply manager, mission recorder, apartment coordinator and vehicle coordinator".  (They only have 6 vehicles).   We will inspect 70+ apartments once each year with the Zone Leaders.  We are excited about this part of the assignment, as it will give us the opportunity to see ALL of our mission area. 

We will be assigned one of the vans in the mission and will assist with "transfers" of the missionaries.

There are three other couples in the mission.  Two of the couples are living 1.5 and 2 hours away from the Mission offices.  Jerry and I will be living in an apartment above the Mission offices.

We are excited about our Philippine Naga Mission.  We hope to be able to post pictures and report on events that transpire during this adventure,
